The notarial act and the travel are priced separately
Every appointment has up to two parts: the fee for each applicable notarial act, and a travel or service charge for coming to you. They are always quoted separately so you can see exactly what you are paying for.

What the $10 covers
The standard notarial fee applies to each applicable acknowledgment or jurat. A single appointment may involve more than one notarial act, and each is charged separately.
If you are unsure how many notarizations your document set requires, mention it when you call and it can usually be estimated in advance.

How much does Cascade Notary charge for an acknowledgment or jurat?
Cascade Notary, LLC currently lists a $10 fee for applicable acknowledgments or jurats, with separate mobile travel or service charges where applicable.
Is the mobile fee the same as the notarial fee?
No. The mobile travel or service charge is separate from the charge for the actual notarial act.
How much does mobile notary service cost in Bend?
Cascade Notary, LLC’s current mobile travel/service fee is $75, with applicable notarial fees added depending on the appointment.
Do you charge mileage?
Yes. Travel outside Bend city limits is currently priced at $1 per mile.
How much does a jail notary appointment cost?
Jail notary appointments start at $200 because these appointments may require additional scheduling, access procedures, and time.
